Grace is Field Manager at Stone Barns Center. She joined the staff full time after an apprenticeship in 2020. Grace grew up surrounded by the beautiful woods in Redding, Connecticut. Her parents always stressed the importance of growing your own food and supporting local farms, which is where her interest with the environment and food started. At Salve Regina University, she studied Biology and Chemistry and completed her thesis in hydroponic farming. After graduating she worked at a farm in Ossining, NY, that focused on microgreen and egg production.
On the side: Grace enjoys hiking with her dog, exploring upstate, or making her own organic skincare products.
