Vicky Bisogno is the Director of Development at Stone Barns Center. In this role, she oversees our philanthropy program, which seeks to engage individuals, foundations, corporations and government at all levels with the groundbreaking research, delicious products and beautiful property that are unique to Stone Barns—and to inspire them to join the diverse community that makes this meaningful work possible.
An expert strategist, Vicky has raised significant funds for the New York nonprofit sector, largely in capital campaign, endowment and annual gifts. Her background balances experience in long-established organizations like The Juilliard School, the Children’s Museum of Manhattan and the consulting firm CCS, with more entrepreneurial outfits like Friends of the High Line, Transportation Alternatives and the Museum of Food and Drink. Before entering the nonprofit sector, Vicky worked and studied in France and England. She earned an M.A. with merit in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester (UK) and graduated magna cum laude with a double B.A. in French and International Relations from New York University.
On the side: Vicky speaks five languages and enjoys exploring different cultures through food—but her deepest joys, quotidian and extraordinary, are found in raising her two daughters with her husband, Stephen. Having grown up across the river, Vicky is a proud daughter of the Hudson Valley and pleased to have returned to the region.
