Dan Carr

Dan Carr was a 2010 Livestock Apprentice and worked as an Assistant Livestock Manager and was the beekeeper at Stone Barns from 2011 to 2015. Since 2015 Dan has managed Q Farms in Sharon CT, a pasture based protein farm that raises grass fed and finished beef cattle, layer chickens, freedom ranger meat chickens, and turkeys all moved daily to maintain the animals health and the highest quality forage.  Q farms also breeds pigs that are rotated through pasture and woodlands.  Dan and his wife Marleen and their son Oliver also own and manage Beavertides farm where they raise meat goats and honey bees and custom graze grass fed beef cattle.
