Farm & Garden Workshop: Small Ruminant Husbandry
Learn about Stone Barns Center’s small ruminants and animal husbandry from our livestock team. Garner a deeper understanding of the process by which we evaluate our animals, select breeding stock, and improve the health and longevity of our herds. Participants will walk away with an understanding of how genetic factors such as conformation and resilience have an impact on all levels of livestock management, from the individual animal to the animal product.
